Frequently asked questions
If you are coming to Arama Riverside, we hope your stay with us is everything you could ever wish for in a hotel in Bali. To help you plan your trip, here are some of the things that people often ask us. If we haven’t covered what you need to know, please email and we will get straight back to you.

What do l get in my own villa?
Lush tropical gardens surround each villa with its own private pool. All villas have a private bale (day bed) for relaxing in and sun loungers to top up on the tan.
All villas come with en-suite bathrooms and are fully air conditioned. There are safety boxes in all the bedrooms.
The open living area is cooled by fans and there is a fully equipped kitchen.
All villas have satellite TV with sports, movies and kids’ channels, free Wi-Fi and DVD players.

What facilities are at Arama Riverside?
We have only been open since early 2012 and we are slowly introducing room service, massages/spa treatments and tours. Some of these may not be available immediately but will be fully operational by the end of the summer.

Do you have 24 hour service?
Yes, we have a large reception area and 24 hour security so there will always be someone on hand to take care of your needs.

Can I walk to the beach?
Yes, it takes about ten minutes to walk to Double Six or Padma Beach. Alternatively a taxi will take only a few moments.

Are there any mosquitoes or insects?
Bali lies at the heart of the tropics, so we do get mosquitoes. To keep them under control, we fog the gardens and spray the villas.

How can I get around Bali?
Taxis are reasonably priced and metered. Reception will be happy to arrange a car for longer trips.

Will l be met at the airport?
We will always confirm your flight details before you arrive and a representative from Arama will be there to meet you at the airport and drop you off on your return.

How do I organize sightseeing tours?
Our staff will be happy to make recommendations and bookings for whole and half days tours as well as a variety of activities both in and outside the hotel.

Are there restaurants within walking distance?
The Legian road is only 25 metres away with an incredible variety of restaurants and bars. A short taxi journey will take you to all the restaurants in Seminyaks ‘Eat Street”

Are there facilities for children at the villas?
All villas have a huge pool with a shallow end, Kids TV channels, and DVD players to keep them entertained until bedtime. Cots etc. are available to hire.

Can I specify which villa I would like?
All our villas are similar in design and have the same facilities. They are allotted on check-in day based on availability. However, if you have a specific request, for example if you have a disability, we will do our best to accommodate you.

Can I request double or twin beds?
All of our master bedrooms have king-size beds, second bedrooms with two single beds (these can be joined to create a king-size bed) and third bedrooms in the three bedroom villas have a another king-size bed. Extra beds are available to hire and if you have any specific requests then please email us.

What bathroom amenities do you have?
Each villa has a selection of bathroom products. We also supply basic essentials like hairdryers and mineral water.

I will be arriving earlier than the stated check-in time. Can I still check-in?
Providing we have a villa available, we will be happy to escort you to your villa as soon as you arrive.

I want to check out after the stated check-out time. Is that possible?
A late check-out can be arranged, but this will be dependent on villa availability. If we are busy, we are happy to store your bags.

Will you store my luggage after I check out if I have late night flight?
We are happy to take care of guests’ luggage after check out and before departing to the airport.

What should I do if I discover I left an item at the hotel?
Please contact us as soon as you realize your item is missing as that makes it easier to find. We can then advise on whether it was found and how to get the item returned to you.

Payment policy

Payment can be made by Bank Transfer, VISA, MASTERCARD. For those whose use credit card methods, payment will be debited and cleared from your account upon dispatch of your booking by Arama riverside. You confirm that the credit card that is being used is yours or that you have been specifically authorised by the owner of the credit card to use it. All credit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to Arama riverside, we will not be able to confirm your booking. We take all reasonable care to make our Site secure. All credit card transactions on this site are processed using Infinitium, a secure online payment gateway that encrypts your card details in a secure host environment. To help ensure that your shopping experience is safe, simple and secure Arama Riverside uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. Furthermore, we will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the Site.

What currencies do you accept?
Arama Riverside is able to accept most major currencies including American and Australia dollars, Euros, Pound Sterling and Yen. However, the exchange rate will be based on local bank rates in Bali rather than international exchange rates, so you will see a small difference between them.

What credit cards do you accept?
Arama Riverside is happy to accept all major credit cards, but due to Indonesian banking regulations you will be charged in Indonesian Rupiah, at the current exchange rate, which will affect your final bill. Your bank or credit card provider then sets the final charge.
